Hello everyone!
So as I’ve said I am going into college soon and the college I really want to go into keeps throwing curve balls at me. At first I didn’t get in, but then I appealed for a transfer. Now the transfer is being looked at, and I wonder what fate has planned for me. Will it push me to go to my first choice school, or will I be going to my second choice?
This got me thinking about all of the things that have happened to me in my lifetime. All of the paths I have been on happened for a reason. Fate pushed me that way for a reason? What is the ultimate goal fate has in store for me? To be in a career I love? To find a soul mate? Or something completely different!
Fate always keeps me questioning, even though I know I will never know the answers until fate makes it so.

I know that I have not updated this blog in a while, but for those of you still following my journey with fate, it thank you.
Lately, I have been questioning what fate has planned for me. I am going to college soon, but after I am done with school I am not sure what I want to do with me life. I also know fate will push me in the right direction, but I get scared when I do not know what my future holds for me.
That’s when you have to be strong. When you become fearful of the future, when you are not sure what to do. You have to believe that fate will push you in the right direction, that you are on the path you are supposed to be on. Fate will not lead you down a path that will displease you.
Stay with fate my followers.

Whether fate was good or bad to you in 2012, I hope fate will push you in the right direction in 2013.

Right now i am taking a philosophy class and while most of the time I cannot understand the subject, today my professor said something that I guess I knew but had never really thought about. He asked the question “Why do things matter to us?” and answered it with “Because we care. If we did not care about something, then we pay no attention to it.”
This got me thinking. It is a pretty obvious statement. We care about things and it is these things that keep us moving through life. You never really think about the things you care about though, until you no longer have it.
The example my philosophy teacher used was a guy getting dumped by his girlfriend. His girlfriend was something he cared about so when he gets dumped, he questions about why he cared. Care is the glue that keeps a person together, keeps a person happy. When that caring feeling is lost, we have nothing to hold onto.
I guess what I’m getting at is that throughout life, you have things that you care about. I care about my dog, my dog cares about being fed everyday, the plants care that the sun comes up etc. However, if you lose the thing you care about, and you begin to question why you cared or what you’re going to do without these things, just remember that you can always care for something else.

I have no idea if this made sense, I’m kinda sick right now DX

May fate bring you more tricks than treats… and if you see a sycophant with candy, just say no!

To fear death, gentlemen, is no other than to think oneself wise when one is not, to think one knows what one does not know.

“What if’s are for fools.” -Geth
Everyone looks back in their lives and asks “What if?” What if I had asked her out? What if I had gotten that job? What if I had stayed in school? Everyone has things in their past that they wish they could change. But we do not have time travel. There is no way to go back and change what we did.
Another point of Lithenism is to accept and move on. Living a life filled with what-if’s is not a life. So maybe the next time you mess up, forgive yourself and move on. Life is all about learning lessons. If you mess up, you know not to repeat yourself in the future. Forgiving yourself is okay.

p.s. On my blog I have opened an ask box, and a “Tales of Fate” tab. If you want to ask me a question about fate, or tell about your experiences with Lithenism, go ahead and click!
